SITAPATRA (USNISA SITATAPATRA/ DUKKAR)
Description
Sitapatra ("white parasol") is the personification of the parasol that sometimes appears over the Buddhas head as a symbol of prestige, and is a remover of obstacles; in her main hands she holds a chakra and parasol handle. Similarly to Avalokiteswara she has a thousand arms and heads, and also feet.
